“Playoffs? Playoffs?”
Sunday NFL CountDown (Sunday, 10 a.m. ESPN)

"Playoffs?  Don't talk about playoffs. You kidding me? Playoffs? I just hope we can win a game." Ten years ago, then-Colts head coach Jim Mora immortalized this quote in the post-game press conference after a loss to the 49ers, and it became a sound bite for the ages. Mora's rant has been often repeated by players and coaches, and it has even crossed over into pop culture in commercials. ESPN.com's Greg Garber revisits this moment with Mora and the media members present that day.

"Part of me was taken aback, because he exploded, and was looking right at me. But I'm thinking this is what I need to do for my job." - Tim Bragg, WRTV sports reporter whose question sparked Mora's response.

"You know you're not going to the playoffs, and then to ask me that kind of question, 'What does this do to your chances of the playoffs?' That's kind of ridiculous." - Jim Mora, on the question that sparked his rant 10 years ago

The Pursuit of Perfection
Sunday NFL CountDown (Sunday, 10 a.m. ESPN)

The Green Bay Packers enter Week 13 with zero losses, and talk has already begun about a perfect season, a feat only accomplished by the 1972 Miami Dolphins. Three teams in recent history have gotten close to perfection, and each of them have taken a different paths toward that goal by either embracing or downplaying the objective. ESPN.com's Greg Garber analyzes the 1998 Broncos, the 2007 Patriots, and the 2009 Colts to see how their approaches to perfection could affect the Packers decisions.

Ozzie Guillen in the “Interview Issue"
ESPN The Magazine

What do a designated hitter and Ozzie Guillen’s bulldog, DH, have in common? More than you’d think -- but Miami’s new manager has love for only one. Tim Kurkjian interviews Ozzie Guillen.

"I like our owner, Jeffrey Loria. I've told him he can ask me anything about baseball. If he doesn't like the answer, I couldn't care less." – Ozzie Guillen
