First Night Game Ever From Michigan; 16 Ranked Teams in Action Across Networks

ESPN’s college football schedule of 39 games for this week will feature the first night contest from Michigan Stadium and 16 teams in the Associated Press Top 25 poll, including a showdown between No. 3 Alabama and No. 23 Penn State (Saturday, Sept. 10, at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC). Highlights:

  • ESPN will televise Notre Dame at Michigan, marking the first night game in the 84-year history of Michigan Stadium, Saturday, Sept. 10, at 8 p.m.
  • In addition to 11 exclusive games, ESPN3 will simulcast 22 matchups from the ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN GamePlan schedule.
  • For the second week in a row, ESPN’s Thursday night telecast will include a highly ranked team in action when Arizona visits No. 9 Oklahoma State Sept. 8 at 8 p.m.
  • Fourteen ranked teams will be in action on Saturday, Sept. 10, highlighted by: No. 6 Stanford at Duke (3:30 p.m. on ESPNU), No. 12 South Carolina at Georgia (4:30 p.m. on ESPN, ESPN3 and ESPN Radio), No. 16 Mississippi State at defending national champion Auburn (noon on ESPN3) and BYU at No. 24 Texas (at 7 p.m. on ESPN2, ESPN3 and ESPN 3D).
  • ESPN 3D will televise two games this week, both involving ranked teams: Arizona at No. 9 Oklahoma State Thursday, Sept. 8, at 8 p.m. and BYU at No. 24 Texas Saturday, Sept. 10, at 7 p.m.
