Michael Yam

Michael Yam joined ESPNEWS, ESPN’s 24-hour sports news network, as an anchor in October 2008.  His role has since expanded and he often provides the news updates during ESPN2's weekday morning programming, Mike & Mike in the Morning and ESPN First Take. 

Yam also hosted ESPN Radio’s Fantasy Focus from December 2005 to January 2007.  In 2005, Yam served as an anchor on NBA–TV’s Game Night and as the host of Fantasy Hoops. 

Before NBA-TV, Yam worked as a host for Sirius Satellite Radio’s The Mike and Murray Show.  A native of Dumont, N.J., Yam earned a bachelor of arts degree in communications from Fordham University in 2003, where he was a recipient of the Marty Glickman Play-by-Play award.
