Ray Buchanan

Former NFL defensive back Ray Buchanan appears on ESPN2’s weekday morning show, First Take (10 – noon ET) during the football season to discuss NFL news and issues.
Buchanan played 13 seasons in the NFL - the Indianapolis Colts (1993 – 96) and Atlanta Falcons (1997-2003) before retiring with the Oakland Raiders in 2004. He was Pro Bowl selection in 1998 and made All-Pro selection twice (1994, 1998). Since retiring, Brown has appeared on the Fox Sports Radio as well ESPN programming.
Buchanan was born September 29, 1971, and played college football for the University of Louisville. A Chicago native, Buchanan was a four-year letterman as a running back and safety for Proviso East High School, and was also a state champion in long jump and triple jump in track and field.
