Cindy Brunson

Cindy Brunson joined ESPN as an ESPNEWS anchor in September 1999.  Since 2008 Brunson has served as the SportsCenter anchor for the weekend morning edition.  In addition, Brunson serves as studio host during the network's women's college basketball and WNBA regular-season coverage.  Brunson also provides Major League Baseball news updates during ESPN’s daily programming.

Prior to ESPN, Brunson worked at KATU in Portland, Ore., as a weekend sports and news anchor/reporter from July 1998 to August 1999.  While in Portland, Brunson covered the Portland Trail Blazers, the University of Oregon and Oregon State University football, men’s and women’s basketball programs.  Brunson also served as a weather anchor and news reporter at KHQ-6 in Spokane, Wash.

Brunson was graduated from Washington State University with a bachelor of arts degree in broadcast communications.
