Erin Andrews

Erin Andrews serves as anchor for ESPNU’s first hour of ESPN’s popular College GameDay weekly football show and a features reporter for the full three-hour program, a role she has held since the 2010 season. In addition, she is the sideline reporter for the Saturday Night Football series on ABC, broadcast television’s first weekly prime-time college football game, and for college basketball’s Saturday Primetime games.

Previously, Andrews was a reporter for the ESPN College Football Saturday telecast, and Big Ten college basketball coverage. In 2005, she began reporting from the sidelines of the ESPN College Football Thursday Primetime series and added Major League Baseball sideline reporting to her responsibilities as well as the Monday Night Baseball telecast. 

Andrews was a reporter on ESPN’s College World Series telecasts, the Little League World Series and the Great Outdoor Games.  From 2008 thru 2010, Andrews reported for ESPN’s and ABC’s live coverage of “The Scripps National Spelling Bee.” 

Before joining ESPN in May 2004 as a reporter for the network’s NHL coverage, Andrews worked as a reporter and studio host for Turner Sports from 2002-04, covering the Atlanta Braves (studio host) and college football (reporter) for TBS and the Atlanta Thrashers (studio host) and Atlanta Hawks (reporter) for Turner Sports South.  

She began her career with Fox Sports Florida South as a freelance reporter in 2000-01. She was a Tampa Bay Lightning reporter for the Sunshine Network from 2001-02. 

Andrews, a native of Lewiston, Maine, was graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor of arts degree in telecommunications in 2000. While at Florida, she was a member of the Gators’ basketball dance team from 1997-2000.
